Existential therapy is a therapeutic approach that focuses on the   individual's experience of their place in the world and the fundamental   conditions of existence. The existential therapeutic approach seeks to   explore and understand the individual's existential experiences, such  as  the meaning of life, the reality of death, freedom and  responsibility,  choice, and existential anxiety.
